Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat is a powerhouse of a plant, capable of surviving at the extremes of environmental pressure. In order to thrive where other plants cannot, HTB produces exceptionally high levels of plant molecules called polyphenols. The bran of Himalayan Tartary Buckwheat is especially fortified with these nutrients, and these may help promote a healthier gut microbiome.*

While there are many types of prebiotics, research has shown that beta glucans may be especially relevant to our immune health. These molecules are found naturally in yeast, fungi, cereals, and certain plants. We include a clinically studied form of beta glucan that comes from microalgae.
